Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking confident and enthusiastic pallet repairer to join their client located in Dandenong, in the South East suburbs of Melbourne. Positions are for an immediate start with a rotating roster on Day, Afternoon and Night shift.

The position will involve the repairing of timber pallets with hand tools and power tools and manual handling / labour work. You may also be involved in the wash bay which consists of washing plastic pallets. Please note the successful must complete a full pre-employment medical
Pallet Repair Position

The position will involve the repairing of timber pallets using automated repair tables.

The Role

  • Assessing and subsequently repairing wooden pallets using a hammer, lever bar and pneumatic nail gun and grinder;
  • Manual Handing up to 10kgs;
  • General housekeeping;
  • Basic use of computer navigation systems;
  • Adhering to safety, health & environment policies and procedures

About You

  • Comfortable in using or have experience using hand/power tools
  • Be reliable and physically fit in general
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Excellent attendance and employment record
  • Pass drug & alcohol screening and full medical assessment
  • Possess a current driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
  • Available for a day, afternoon and night rotating roster
